How to treat it?
01
Non-surgical treatment
how to
Primarily, both acute and chronic non-surgical treatment should be performed. In addition, you can reduce symptoms by simply putting lateral valgus wedges into the shoes so that the feet are not rolled, widening or lowering the heels, and reducing symptoms by using a brace or taping during exercise. Patients can improve the disease by performing muscle strengthening exercises with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, physical therapy, and also rehabilitation programs should be carried out for at least 6 weeks.
02
Prolotherapy
how to
If there is no response with the above conservative treatments, good results can be expected with prolotherapy, which is aimed at strengthening ligaments.
In general, the treatment is performed 3 to 5 times every 2 weeks.
The pain intensifies 3 to 5 days after the prolotherapy but this is a stage of recovery, so you do not have to worry about that.
